Death of a Horse Leads to Major Middlesex Court Case

George E. Houghton sues Joseph E. Fitzpatrick in Middlesex Superior Civil Court at East Cambridge for damages over his horse killed at Fitzpatrick’s Concord blacksmith shop. Mystery Man Found Dead At Bear Hill Waltham

A circa 65 year old man was found yesterday morning on Bear Hill slope near the highway at Waltham. He lay on his back with arms at his sides. Focal plane 65 feet above mean low water. visibility 15 feet above sea level in clear weather from a deck. The Cape Henlopen fog signal will be relocated to the new eastern light November 15 1885.
