Sergeants Gaskins and Cain led a 6-officer raid on the West End gambling den at No. 33 Howard Street. Spotter warned gamblers, but officers gained entry, broke two doors, and found 120 chips 10 score cards three packs cards a deal box cribbage board dice boxes backgammon board and a costly deal box.
