John B. Foster secretary of the New York National League Club held a conference with the district attorney and denied that any tickets for the present series reached city employees and were passed to speculators. He provided an affidavit detailing how about 8000 reserved seats were distributed, noting book and mailing sheets are subject to DA calls. Ebbets received 450 per game. 16 suspects were arrested outside the Polo Grounds for alleged ticket selling and fined ten dollars each.
