Drowned Farm Hand Found in Trough at Montpelier

Timothy O'Brien a 29 year old farm hand was found drowned in a watering trough in Montpelier Vermont. His hands were tied and a note for his brother said he found no enjoyment in life. The incident occurred October 3.

Fire at Lake House and adjoining buildings in Waldoboro

Fire swept the Lake House and a nearby stable in East Jefferson Waldoboro today destroying a former printing office building. Little personal property was saved and the loss was reported insured for a small amount.
