Boston Hosts Warm Welcome for British Guests in Frisco Hall

Lord Denbigh and the Honourable Artillery Company of London at a Faneuil Hall smoker praised Boston’s reception as extraordinary. The Earl sent a cable to King Edward and lauded the city’s cheers during a five mile procession, with British and Boston hosts sharing hearty acclaim.

Chinese battle in Boston Street leaves one dead

Won Wak Ching, 25, of 48 Beach Street, was shot three times in the right lung left hand and arm during a street clash on Boston Street. He died an hour after arriving at the Emergency Hospital. Continued on Page 4, Third Column.
