The steamer George Warren, disabled and signaling for help with torches and rockets, was sighted about one and a half miles east of Block Island in thick weather. Observers fear she may be driven onto the shore rocks due to the sea’s danger and poor visibility.

In Adams on November 28 Herman Suessbrich aged 52 a weaver died by his own action near his home after his wife refused to return. The wife had Tuesday brought her stepson to court on an assault charge and Suessbrichs testimony exonerating the youth angered her.
A man left his home after court done and killed himself with a .38 pistol near his home. He left letters to his wife daughter and son and requested cremation of his body. His body was found by two boys and claimed by the wife and his son.

In Woburn on November 28 15 year old Joseph Garvey was accidentally shot and killed by 12 year old Lawrence Budreau at the Budreau home on Grove Street. Police say Budreau believed the rifle was unloaded.
After a forenoon hunting trip in the Horn Pond Mountain woods, Young Garvey was accidentally shot by Lawrence Budreau who pointed a .22 rifle at him and pulled the trigger from about six feet away. Garvey died an hour later. medical examiner W. H. Keleher found no evidence of intent after questioning those present.

Shreveport La Nov 28 Wood Burke Jim Heard and Silas Jimmerson three Black men who attacked and wounded Deputy Sheriff Edwards of Bossier parish were taken from deputies transporting them from Caddo parish jail to Benton and lynched at Vanceville near Benton.
