Miss Mildred Ford Charged as Horse Thief in Athol
Miss Mildred Ford aged 19 of Leominster alias Daly and other names faced horse theft charges after a gray pony named Baby was taken from John L. Earle’s Athol stable. Sheltered in a Boston dime museum, she was located with help from Fitchburg officers and Sheriff Doane and jailed. She will be arraigned in District Court tomorrow.
