At roll call Lieutenant Gallivan presented Captain Otis F. Kimball with a three and a half foot basket of 35 American beauty roses to honor 35 years of service. The event drew about 100 officers as Kimball, appointed to the force in 1878 and rising to captain in 1901, remains active and trusted by his squad.

Mrs Stokes Arrested in Fort Worth Murder Case
In Fort Worth Texas on November 27 Agnes Stokes former wife of John Stokes was arrested on a murder charge. The case stems from a confrontation with the second Mrs Stokes who arrived with a lawyer to inventory goods and where Donald Shilg the lawyer was shot dead. Two Players Break Legs Playing Football in City Lot
Charles Dawkins of South Boston broke his leg while playing near the Columbia Yacht Club in a vacant Strandway lot and was admitted to City Hospital. Thomas J.
