Miss Norma Ahlstrand Killed In City Street Crash

Miss Norma Ahlstrand, to be maid of honor at her sister Olga’s wedding, was killed when a street car struck the automobile returning from a prenuptial party. Dora Nelson Gertrude Weber and Grace Hedman were badly hurt but expected to recover. The crash caused a house fire after gas mains ruptured, driving out 20 people and injuring several firemen. others injured are reported to recover, with three in serious condition.

Customs Man Rufue A. Flanders Dies Suddenly

Rufue A. Flanders 69 a longtime Boston Custom House employee died suddenly at his home 89 Auburn Street Brookline surrounded by his wife and family.
