Woman Dies En Route Home After Illness in Belgium

Mrs. Hermanus Spitz of South Boston sailed with her daughter to visit her mother in Belgium. Stricken with heart cancer, she was carried ashore on a stretcher after the Marquette docked. Doctors say she cannot live and her husband, a Boston cigarmaker, rushed to her bedside to bring her home to die.
