Counterfeit plates found in East Boston home
Secret Service and Pinkerton detectives seized dies plates and counterfeit money from the home of Mrs Delia Herbert at 279 Paris Street East Boston. They tied the operation to William Davis and his wife Annie Herbert and arrested S George Davis at 36 Oxford Street. The cache included a large amount of counterfeit Canadian notes and finished impressions stored in a bread tin. Authorities plan further proceedings in Boston.
