Davis arrested after Boston counterfeiting probe

William Davis alias L W Davis, linked to a Winthrop counterfeiting case, was arrested in Guthrie Oklahoma by Secret Service Agent William H Forsyth. The capture followed Boston detectives led by Inspector Owen and Pinkerton men tracing a Halifax Nova Scotia confession implicating a Boston area manufacturer. Davis and his wife faced flight across multiple cities before arrest.
