New York funds par to 5 cents premium, clearing house exchanges $3,736,662 and balances $1,026,480.

The New York market advanced with a buoyant tone as rails and unions led gains across major shares. Prices rose for Central, Lake Shore, St Paul, and Texas Pacific while late-day selling caused minor pulls. rail bonds firm and mining issues showed activity.
