Harvard Law Student Loses First Case in Equity Sessions

Bowling ball attack on Patrolman Riley shocks town

Wins Game, but May Lose Life

Braintree Nov. 7 Three hours after Harry Allen the 17 year old half back of Braintree High School scored the only touchdown in a game with Thayer Academy he collapsed at home. A physician treated him for two hours and restored consciousness finding a slight concussion of the brain and a strained neck ligament. He was stated in critical condition but might recover.

Tranquil Gallant Dies After Fall From Wall At Station

Attleboro November 7. Tranquil Gallant 65 prominent optician of 257 West Street North Attleboro sustained fatal injuries after falling from a retaining wall at the railway station to the street below. He died two hours after admission to Sturdy Memorial Hospital. Gallant, who had just arrived on the 7 17 p m from Taunton, was en route home and well known in local social and fraternal circles. He is survived by his wife and son Frank Gallant a North Attleboro moving picture operator.

Tufts Dental College students' initiation causes disturbance on the Common

Four Tufts Dental College students, one in a baby carriage, were halted by a police officer on Lafayette Mall for creating a disturbance during an Alpha Omega fraternity initiation. The baby fell from the carriage, a student mother cried, and onlookers gathered before the initiates left.
