Brown routed Harvard 9 4 in Providence. Rube Cram pitched well through six innings before collapsing in the ninth, allowing Harvard three runs on three hits and forcing two Harvard pitchers from the box.

Cicotte pitched well for Chicago as the visitors used five pitchers to try and stop the slugging locals.
