About 9 pm Saturday chemical company No 1 extinguished a $75 fire at the Shaw heirs and Simon Oakes dwelling at 7 Cambridge Street. A separate alarm from Box 4 at 1 am Sunday reported a slight blaze on the fourth floor of 70 Beverly Street occupied by James M Lombard, with spontaneous combustion causing $10 damage.
