Man Rescues WouldBe Jumper After Broadway Bridge Plunge
Abram Chanski aged 30 of 25 Oswego Street South End is in City Hospital after attempting suicide by diving from the Broadway bridge yesterday afternoon. He says he intended to leap but changed his mind on impact and cried for help. William C. Donovan, draw tender, heard him and brought him to safety.

Doctor on trial for alleged illegal operation case
