The schooner Fannie Belle Atwood suffered a rudder failure on a Quero Banks trip two weeks ago. Captain John Atwood continued to a fair catch, then sailed to Port Clyde for repairs. A cache of fish was landed at the pier with other vessels, and new plans include building a 135 ton schooner to join the local fleet under Captain Lemuel Spinney.
