Cyclist Hit By Street Car In Chelsea Collision
Norman Merino aged 28 of 206 Vale Street Chelsea was struck while cycling on Everett Avenue near Carter Street and hurled by a Bay State Street Railway car. He suffered a fractured collar bone a torn right ear and other injuries and was taken to Frost Hospital. A second Chelsea incident saw Lewis Taylor of 156 Broadway struck by an auto owned by W J Condon Co Everett and driven by Thomas L Monahan with bruises contusions and possible internal injuries. He was returned to his home.
