Boy Saved by Sailor Off Boston Wharf
A Portuguese sailor Joseph Mathias from the William A Morse crew rescued eight year old Raymond Baker of 805 Fifth Street South Boston after he fell from a wagon at Long wharf. Baker rode with John Davis Co of 82 East Fifth Street and slipped from the wagon as it tilted while delivering to the schooner Julia I. The sailor pulled the boy from the water and saved him from drowning.

Electric hits grain wagon in Hancock Street collision
Quincy May 23 An electric streetcar traveling at high speed struck a grain wagon driven by Thomas Rafferty of Roxbury on Hancock Street. Rafferty was knocked to the ground and suffered two broken ribs. He was taken home after the incident.
