Schulman Calls for Jewish Freedom and Global Action

Dr. Schulman urged immediate action for persecuted Jews, calling on nations under the League charter to grant rights within their borders. He warned the League covenant risks becoming a covenant with death unless justice prevails and urged American leadership to influence global emancipation, including support for Jews in Palestine. Delegates from 250 states gathered at Copley Plaza for the Union of American Hebrew Congregations meeting, with sessions and a concert on the agenda.
