Farm fire devastates 2500 acres in Moss Brook pastures

Flames began in D R Dean’s Moss Brook pasture at 11 30 am and swept 2500 acres, destroying three buildings and causing about 20900 in damage as farmers banded together to fight the blaze. The cause is believed to be a cigarette or cigar stub from a passing car.
