Gloucester Strands on Mud Bank Delays Voyage to Baltimore

The steamer Gloucester of the Merchants and Miners fleet ran aground on a mud bank near Lawley's wharf during fog. With 25 passengers aboard, salvage crews waited for higher water before refloating. No leaks or injuries reported as tide rose and the ship floated off.

Mural Decorative Art Exhibition Opens at Boston Public Library

British Ship Low Sloy Wrecked off Kangaroo Island
