WAVERLY May 1 It was learned today that J G Simpson a lawyer and former inmate at the McLean Asylum for the Insane escaped last Sunday night The asylum authorities acknowledged the escape but would not comment He claims his detention was unwarranted and intends to seek a sanity board and damages thereby taking legal steps to prove his sanity and sue the asylum The hospital authorities refused to discuss the statements

Englewood rescuer hurt saving child from subway car
