Three Big Fires Hit Boston With 105000 Loss

Three three alarm fires swept Boston yesterday causing an estimated 105 000 in damage. Prescott Co 324 Congress St South Boston kitchenware suffered 50000 loss. Palmer Parker 81 193 Medford St Charlestown veneers and woods 25000. Boston and Maine freight shed 36 Rutherford Ave Charlestown hay and grain 30000. Fire spread to nearby tenements. arson suspected in Charlestown and authorities battled flames from midday into evening.

Fire destroys St. Catherine’s Church Hatcham in London

Four Firemen Overcome In Large City Warehouse Blaze

A three alarm fire at Prescott & Co kitchenware warehouse 324 Congress street injured four firefighters and led to the rescue of two girls. Firemen were revived at a nearby station after hours of fighting the noon blaze caused about 59000 in damage. Captain Edward Connors, Thomas Lane, Captain Martin Kinnealy, and Carl E. Johnson were overcome but recovered.
