One Speech Is Cancelled
P James Fernley secretary of the National Hardware Jobbers Association arrived in Boston from Philadelphia for a 1 pm dinner speech at Youngs Hotel. A taxi collision on Atlantic Avenue left Fernley with facial cuts and a hospital visit but he delivered his speech with court plaster. Dunleavy, also from Philadelphia, was injured and did not speak.
