Draw ends tight Brooklyn bout Sullivan Bernstein

Dave Sullivan of Boston and Joe Bernstein of New York fought twenty five rounds at catchweights in Brooklyn with referee Johnny White declaring a draw. Both fighters absorbed punishment as Bernstein focused on head and neck while Sullivan struck body heavy. Sullivan was favored at betting 100 to 80.
