The son of Captain Colcord, commander of the bark Harvard lost off Madagascar, sailed with Captain Curtis and his crew from Maine just after 9 am yesterday as the ship reached No 4 New York and New England piers South Boston.

Three Men Arrested for Brockton Diamond Theft Ring
Three men George W. Preston alias Morton James Wilson and Clifford H La Belle were arrested by Inspectors Shields Wise Kelly and Gaddis accused of breaking and entering and five larcenies. Police recovered a telescope bag with valuables and linked them to recent local burglaries including a church theft and a Milford street burglary. The value involved is about 50 dollars with more pieces expected from pawn shops.
