After a high speed chase and several shots fired on West Springfield street just after 11 pm, police captured 18 year old George Tatteille of 406 Massachusetts avenue.

Francisco Villa has escaped from Mexican troops near Namiquipa and is being pursued by three columns of American cavalry. They are about 250 miles south of the border and could travel farther by week’s end unless Mexican forces halt him.
General Pershing details Villa’s escape from danger caused by American punitive force. General Funston forwarded the report to Washington with only essential facts.
