Three Americans killed near Gibsons Line Ranch on border

Report from Douglas Arizona says three Americans two women and one man were killed eight miles west of Columbus New Mexico near Gibsons Line Ranch between 4 and 5 pm Wednesday. Soldiers reportedly crossed the line in pursuit of the slayers. El Paso meanwhile says Pancho Villa is cornered and may be captured within hours as Carranza forces close in in El Oso canyon.

Sussex torpedoed off Dieppe with 386 aboard

The cross channel steamer Sussex, sailing Folkestone to Dieppe with several Americans aboard, is reported torpedoed in the English Channel near Dieppe. All 386 passengers are believed saved. The Dominion liner Englishman, with about 68 aboard, was also struck and sunk, but those on board were rescued.
