Worcester Aldermen Grant Licenses and Rejections
The Worcester board of aldermen held a secret five hour session today granting sixteen innholder and fifty six common victualler licenses while rejecting eight innholder and eighty eight common victualler licenses. The total issued is about twenty five more than last year under the no license law. The small rise reflects Temperance League findings on several applicants.
