Thirteen year old Hyman Thormer of 11 Savoy Street South End was crushed by an elevator at 18 Beach Street while playing yesterday. He was rushed to Grace Hospital in a dangerous condition. Surgeons believe they can save him. Ladder Company 17 responders freed him within 15 minutes. His chum found him, stayed with him, and fetched help.
