William H. Blaisdell chief engineer at Cambridge Water Works for seven years shot himself at his Lakeview Avenue home yesterday morning in the presence of his wife. He had been on suspension since March 1 after accusing his assistant G F Haven of incompetency and trouble making. Blaisdell’s hearing was set for next Wednesday while Haven’s case had been before the board for eight to ten days.
