Police locked up a man after Booker T Washington reported being assaulted in front of a Sixty third Street house. Washington sustained a heavy blow from a club, was treated at Flower Hospital, and held the wound dressing for over an hour.
Dr. Washington was struck by Albert Ulrich a large German after Ulrich claimed a burglar presence. Washington defended himself with his fists and Ulrich was arrested after officers verified Washingtons identity. Washington suffered scalp lacerations an ear injury and bruises. He had come to New York to meet Tuskegee Institute auditor D C Smith.
Michael McKeon of 131 Boston Street South Boston grew enraged after a dispute with two men. En route to City Hospital yesterday he lost portions of both ears and suffered lacerations to his hands after an attack on Harrison Avenue near Bennett Street. He was unconscious when police arrived.

Neighb or Edward Fogarty found Thomas Fitzgibbons Jr attacking his father with an axe while the mother lay dead with a crushed skull. Fire engulfed the scene,likely started by a lamp or overturned stove. The elder Fitzgibbons was badly burned before removal of the bodies.
