Death of Hon. John R. Bullard in Dedham

The Hon. John R. Bullard a prominent Dedham lawyer and member of the Suffolk and Norfolk bar was found dead early yesterday morning. A physician attributed the death to apoplexy He leaves a wife and four children two daughters and two sons The eldest son John Jr is currently in Bermuda and Bullard once captained Harvard crew in 1906.

Jordan-Marsh Art Exhibit opens next Monday

Lawyer Charles F. Choate opened hearings with Nathan S. Brock detailing bidding methods for Metropolitan Water Board contracts. Brock testified that Italian labor could be priced at 91.25 to 1.35 dollars a day while white labor priced at 2 to 3.25 dollars would be barred from competition, and that most workers spoke no English.

Delay in Carnegie Gase. Equity suit may not go to trial till October

Judge Stowe indicated the equity suit filed by H. C. Frick against Andrew Carnegie and Carnegie Steel Company members may be postponed until October. Carnegie defendants' counsel sought a further fifteen day extension. Henry Phipps Jr. had not filed his answer. Judge Stowe saw no reason the motion could not be granted.

Dohnanyi Delights Boston Audiences with Brilliance

Ernst von Dohnanyi, the 22 year old Hungarian pianist, impressed Boston at the Music Hall with the Symphony Orchestra by delivering Beethoven and encores. Boston College Play Delights Audiences With Daly Drama

In Boston College Hall last evening the Young Men's Catholic Association of Boston produced Augustin Daly's play a Night Off under Dr. Thomas J. Giblin. The amateurs delivered a polished performance with a cast including Julian Babbitt and Mrs Cornelia Babbitt among others. The event closed with plans for another meeting at the Revere Hall Mechanics' Institute.
