Plan of the New Colonial Theatre in Boston
Ames estate erects a ten story Colonial Theatre on the old Public Library site with 20 to 30 stores and offices. The design features a grand foyer, Louis Quinze finish, Italian Renaissance boxes, a 100 by 60 stage, 77 foot height, 3600 stage lights and 7000 total lights, Milford granite facade, and front architraves with granite columns. Rich, Frohman & Harris Age will manage the new theatre, with plans by Ce Hyens.

Fitzgerald was held from his Seventy-second Street home with a large turnout from Catholic Club Bar Association Hibernians Sons of St Patrick and Knights of Columbus.
