No Injunction Sought in Nova Scotia Coal Case
Comment swirled in mining circles after a Halifax despatch claimed the Boston and Nova Scotia Coal Mining Company sought a Supreme Court injunction. Company officials in Providence, Rome street address, and Halifax directors denied any foundation, calling the report a wicked canard. Civil engineer Ross had reportedly traveled to Boston and Chicago for talks, while director Cobb insisted no legal action existed.
