Boy's Hard Weekends Ends In Dog Attack Graft Success
Frank Willard a 12 year old boy who lived rough and sold papers near Charlestown was attacked by a bulldog on Winthrop street. The dog bit off his nose but surgeons at the hospital grafted a new nose. Police recovered the severed nose for study. This young survivor has faced hardship since early childhood after losing his parents and drifting through shelters and a foster home.

Mysterious drowning at Nantasket claims young boy
Charles Collins two year old son of C B Collins of Rockland Massachusetts drowned in a pond off Atlantic avenue Nantasket. The child was sent to the barn and fell into the water while attempting to reach a rowboat. He was recovered but died despite medical help. The water had entered the lungs and signs of life were present briefly.

Worldly George Robinson Ends Life by Gas
After decades of varied work, George Robinson, a resident of 24 East Canton street, committed suicide yesterday afternoon by inhaling illuminating gas in his room. The landlady noticed the odor around 5 pm, the door was forced, and Robinson lay dead, having sealed the room to prevent detection. Dr. McQueeney declared no chance of rescue. the body was sent to the city hospital morgue for examination.
