A preliminary meeting at Maverick Hall East Boston formed the P. J. Grady Camp of the Legion of Spanish American War Veterans with about 40 attendees. Captain Hayes chaired and Fr H Sullivan acted as secretary. A rallying committee was named and next meeting set for July 14 at Grand Army Hall East Boston.
