Clam bake outing ends in tragedy at Cedar Springs
Michael Tully, 40, was found dead Monday afternoon beneath a tree near Cedar springs Southwickford after Sunday’s clam bake and a party that reportedly closed with a sparring match. The USS Saratoga arrived at Newport and will join the training fleet for Tuesday’s review. Commodore Semmes and board inspectors have arrived. Brown University sophomore prize declamations were held Monday evening with awards to Alexander, Starton Dike, and Rhett.
