In a stern address Clemenceau accuses Germany of the greatest crime ever by civilized people. He says Germany misunderstands France’s aims and urges punishment with justice. He declares revolution cannot escape retribution and notes public support for rulers persisted to the end.
American troops who took part in the punitive expedition against the Villa rebels are billeted in barracks and camps on the U S side after 24 hours of campaigning. Seven Mexican prisoners are moved toward Fort Bliss stockade and a detachment drives a herd of 100 captured horses to the remount station.

Albany reports New York Legislature ratified the federal woman suffrage amendment without an assent vote making New York the fifth state to ratify Ohio also approved the federal amendment and moved to grant presidential elector voting rights to women in 1920 if needed Kansas in special session unanimously ratified the amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
Captain Alcock and Lieutenant Brown received a civic welcome in Galway with complimentary addresses. A luncheon followed before the pair boarded the train to Dublin. Alcock said his face was swollen from the drive but the flight caused little distress and predicted passenger air service between England and America within a year.

Eastern League Providence beat Waterbury 4 0 Worcester beat Hartford 2 1 Bridgeport won over New Haven 2 1 Pittsfield defeated Springfield 5 2.
