Kind of Man Who Does Things Sermon at Yale

Hope That Lee Will Recover

George A. Lee, a jockey, was thrown Saturday from the steeplechase horse Sarda at Coun try Club and suffered a brain concussion. He regained consciousness briefly yesterday and recognized his bride of three weeks. Mrs. Lee has stayed at the hospital since the accident, while doctors have not yet determined the injury's seriousness.

The Church of St. John the Baptist in Quincy began a week long golden Jubilee marking 50 years as a separate parish. A solemn high mass of thanksgiving was held at 10 30 in the morning followed by solemn high vespers at night.

Strikebreakers Stoned by Italian Strikers Near Plains Town Hall

While out for a stroll near Plains, strikebreakers who passed through were set upon by local Italian strikers. They were driven back to the Town Hall, hats lost, and several individuals believed injured in the altercation.
