Stops Fugitive With a Shot Takes Down Youth at Charlestown Alms House

Anthony Souci, 17, of Lynde street Everett, allegedly held up two men with a revolver in front of the old Charlestown almshouse late Saturday night. Patrolman Michael J. Lynch fired a shot, pursued Souci who fled, then captured him behind the almshouse. Souci later admitted discarding the gun, a loaded 22 caliber revolver found by the officer.
