Two Fishermen Lost In Fog Near Gloucester

Gloucester June 9. Frank Forni con 19 and Percy Golden 21 of the schooner J. W. Parker were reported lost after noon by Captain George Tufts while fishing at Quero. They ventured in dories to haul trawls when a heavy fog enveloped them and when it lifted they were nowhere to be seen.

Labor clashes as Ettor arrives in city

Simultaneously with Joseph J. Ettor’s arrival in the city yesterday the Industrial Workers of the World organizers declared war on the Boston affiliates of the American Federation of Labor. The dispute marks the first clash between the two unions here, focused on the Boston barber strike and control of certain industries.

Burglar Caught After Two Days in Rich Home Loafing

Maine man Richards confessed to breaking into the Winthrop house on Marlboro Street Back Bay after entering through a broken window. He admitted taking Miss Mc Auliffe’s $5.95 and hid valuables including diamond jewelry valued in the thousands. Police recovered extensive loot and held him at the Back Bay station after a brief meal and humor at the scene.
