In West End, 18-year-old Lillian Glass survived a lethal gas incident after a milk-delivery boy, Sammy Koupchik, sprinted to Massachusetts General Hospital with a dying woman, prompting ambulance action. Sammy then alerted police, leading to lifesaving care, but was fired when the milkman found him absent.

Arlington Pageant Adds Friday Show and Exchange Plan

At a meeting of the Arlington pageant executive committee it was voted to add an extra performance on Friday June 13. The postponed show will be held Saturday June 14 with Saturday tickets exchangeable for Friday at Mead's Arlington Centre.
