Auto Runs Over Boy Leaving Car

Harry Connelly aged 15 of 17 Richardson street Somerville was struck and run over by a car as he stepped from an electric vehicle at Highland avenue and Lowell street Somerville around 6 pm. The driver could not avoid the impact and the boy suffered two broken ribs and other contusions. Dr. L J Dervin attended and the lad was taken home.

The armored cruiser Maryland achieved the best score in the long range day firing at the navy practice. Rhode Island Idaho Virginia New Hampshire Michigan and Utah followed in merit with older ships using mixed calibres reflecting credit on their crews.
