Puffer Reports On Utah Apex Prospect Cash Ore Returns

Rockwood Puffer states an ore body 120 feet long and 20 feet thick has been developed in the Parvenue tunnel and is shipping about 140 tons daily of silver head ore averaging $10 per ton. About 4000 tons shipped monthly, with back filling using the same tonnage. The raise to the Andy level will finish in six weeks and the mill will run, making ore shipments to the smelter with profits offset by mining costs.

The author notes Utah Copper's operations as the greatest mining operation globally and observes widespread regional prosperity.

Copper Range Plan Nears Approval As Atlantic Mining Exchange Advances

Nearly 40.4 shares of Atlantic Mining stock are deposited for exchange into Copper Range. Consolidation is on a 10 for 1 basis, with over half the Atlantic shares likely to be exchanged. North Lake drill No 18 found a strong copper vein at 1244 to 1255 feet, 11 feet wide with a solid copper core. The vein aligns with Lake Superior copper courses, signaling a major lode near Section 29. Reports from Butte indicate the Berlin vein near 2200 feet widens to 15 feet with ore around 12 percent copper, potentially among the richest on Butte hill.
