Hebrew Women May Fight For Hospital

Arlington voters and residents confront a court fight after the town Selectmen issued a sweeping order barring a tuberculosis hospital on the Pierce farm atop Standpipe Hill. The Hebrew Ladies Helping Hand Association had planned a sanatorium and held an option worth 300000 dollars, but the order blocks any such use outside designated areas. The association president, Samuel Borofsky, calls the action unfair and says the group may pursue legal options to test the order.
