Blake Malloch filed a general denial of his wife’s charges and claimed she deserted him on April 17, 1913, and was infatuated with MIT student Kenneth Blake. He accused her of neglecting him and the child, often staying on the beach late with Blake, attending theatres and amusements, and said he fled an appearance but does not intend to contest the case.

Two Bodies Found Off Winthrop Shore

Two bodies were recovered near the Winthrop shore one an infant a few weeks old and the other a man about 25. The man’s body appeared in the water for about two weeks and may be Ralph M Bardwell of Melrose but his sister denies it. The infant’s body was found by William Getty and Herbert Ambler near Dolphin Avenue and taken by the Metropolitan Park police with the medical examiner notified.
