Bull Moose Announces Full Slate for State Races

Unhurt After Lively Tumbling Fall From Window

Patrick H. Waldron, 42, of 23 Park Street Medford a patient at Malden Hospital escaped the grounds and after leaping from a second story window fell 200 feet to the street The man was carried to the hospital with cuts and scratches but not seriously hurt.

Two Per Cent Bonds Referred for House Plan

Washington July 16 The Democratic House Banking and Currency Committee completed a plan to refund the two per cent bonds underpinning the currency. It provides exchange of two per cent bonds for three per cent ten year bonds exempt from taxation while preserving circulation until redemption. Proceeds from the federal reserve banks would be used to reduce public debt.

Receivers Continue Taxi Business After Court Appointment

G. P. Phipps and C. B. Penney were appointed by Judge Morton of the United States District Court as receivers for the Taxi Motor Cab Company. They will continue operations despite an erroneous report stating a wind up date of August 1. The People's National Bank sponsored the petition leading to the appointment, and stands as a major creditor.

Cunard Names New Liners Andania and Alaunia for Boston Service

The Cunard line announced Andania and Alaunia will join the Boston Liverpool run this fall to fill the gap while Franconia and Laconia run winter cruises to the Mediterranean. Both ships are 18 300 ton twin screw liners, 540 feet long, with 525 cabins and 1620 steerage berths.

Mrs Tinker Improves After Critical Condition

Mrs. Joseph Tinker wife of the Cincinnati Nationals manager and shortstop showed slight improvement at her Oak Park home. Doctors said no transfusion will be needed unless her condition worsens and she would come to Chicago if it becomes necessary.

Groundfish Prices and Cargoes At Port Yesterday

Groundfish prices held firm as haddock 4 cents per pound and swordfish 10 cents led the market at T Wharf. Vessels landed haddock and hake with notable cargoes. passenger Edward D. Nichol arrived on the Warren liner Sachem from Liverpool, while the Cunard Franconia sighted a wreck near Fishguard. The Arabic from Liverpool is due at Boston with 295 saloon and 626 steerage passengers, as trajets move between Atlantic ports and New England.

Boy Escapes Court Run Seeks Poison End at Lyman School

Boy Boyce, 15 from Stoneham, fled Malden District Court after being sentenced to Lyman School for Boys by Judge Sweetser. Captured after a chase, he claimed to have taken poison tablets. Dr Eugene McCarthy treated him with an emetic before transfer to Lyman School.
